High end location and Stuido Photogapher. Bill has more than twenty years experience in commercial photography, plus extensive education in both commercial and fine arts photography. He started his education by receiving a full merit scholarship to study commercial photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta, where he received an AA degree in 1980. He went on to study fine art photography at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and received his BFA degree there in 1984. While in school, spent a summer session studying with Ansel Adams in Carmel, California. Bill has been in the photography business since 1984. Bill Crofton Photography specializes in on-location commercial photography for architects, graphic designers, interior designers, advertising agencies, and corporations. His photographs have appeared in Chicago Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, and on CBS television. He has done photography for The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, The Smithsonian Institution
