I'm a degreed design engineer specialised in electronic packaging & production. Don't be confused with the term "packaging": it refers to enclosures and protective features built into the product itself, and not to shipping containers.

My skill is very close to a mechanical design engineer. But an electronic packaging (of a missile flight control system as an example) is a challenging task. In addition to skills in mechanics, it requires some knowledge in many fields, from chemistry to circuit design and programming, as well as a good command in various CAD/CAM systems.
