I am familiar with timber frame and structural steel building support systems of various occupancy types with load bearing walls, diaphragms, and facades of various materials. I am familiar with timber, truss, and reinforced concrete floor systems and slabs on grade. I have been involved in the erection of several pre-engineered metal buildings. I have sized beams and columns for permanent industrial equipment and piping support systems and monorails; however, I do not claim to be a structural engineer. I have designed large aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) and their secondary containments in accordance with API 620 and 650. I have prepared order of magnitude, preliminary, and definitive cost estimates of industrial construction projects.
