  Stepan helped me not only work on the illustrations and coloring of the book. But he also designed additional art work for press, as well as a T-shirt design. The range of skills that Stepan had was awesome. It meant that I did not have to go to different people to do my tasks. But that Stepan could do all of them for me, which was a big asset for the project. I highly recommend Stepan for any illustration job, his style is one of a kind and really brings stories alive.

  I had to make some last minute changes to file types and had to add some last minute changes to the illustrations and also request additional illustrations. Stepan didn't make me feel like I was requesting too much or that he couldn't do this. He was very cooperative with me when I had these last minute changes, which as an author made me feel like he was on my side and invested in the project. Not just trying to make a quick buck.

  I really felt that Stepan had a lot of pride in the project. The work did not seem rushed, and I felt like he was taking time in getting the project right and not just trying to get it done. This was very important to me in an illustrator. He really wanted the finished product to turn out not only as a piece of work that he was proud of, but a piece of work that I was satisfied with and that was aligned with my vision of what I wanted in the book.

  Stepan was able to take the feedback for the changes that I needed to make to the colors, and edit the images very quickly. His speed at making corrections and his ability to be flexible in the number of edits was amazing.

  Stepan has a great sense of color and was not just able to sketch out fantastic illustrations and expressions, but was able to color the illustrations beautifully. The vibrant, realistic, and fun colors and textures used really made the pages of the book come alive.
