I have a BA from the School of International Service at American University (Washington, DC, 1990) and a Masters of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas (Austin, TX, 1996). I am skilled at both writing and editing in English, and in Spanish to English or English to Spanish translation of documents, web pages, etc. I have done research and editing work for the New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, successful grant writing for projects in Latin America, and also have extensive creative and academic writing experience. I have extensive field experience in regional planning and various aspects of Latin American development. I posess advanced knowledge of standard Windows-based work environments and software, and am skilled at graphic design in Photoshop. I live in the Chilean Patagonia.
