Having developing websites since 1998, I have experience across a broad range of web development projects. From small websites through to large projects handling scalability and perfomance issues, there is no job too big or small.
I am heavily involved in developing "Web 2.0"/AJAX applications using some excellent toolkits (such as Dojo and Nevow). One of my side projects is an AJAX (dynamic asyncronous xml/javascript), web based RSS reader and tagging web application.
I regularly use Open Source software to reduce client costs, increase project turn around time and improve future code maintability.
I enjoy working freelance as it allows me to find unusual/difficult problems. I also work on a number of personal development projects to experiment with new public web services.
