I started out as a Visual Basic / SQL developer 10 years ago (in 96). After 4 years, I became a Lead Developer and led a 4-member Web Development team (using ASP / SQL Server).
Within two years, I became Director of Application Development and was the lead engineer for a brilliant 5-member team.
A year later, I became VP of Engineering for a 27-employee department. I was the sole architect and one of the primary developers of a large-scale softwarae system that is still relied on by a $60 million/year company.
I've created countless "quick and dirty" software solutions (1 day projets) as well as several massive, 6-12 month systems.
I have experience writing software for the medical industry, standard commerce industries (mainly retail), and in the market research industry.
I'm completely comfortable working with clients to develop a spec and design a system from scratch.
