I've been worked in the publishing industry for about five years converting documents with Perl, XSLT, and PHP. I have lots of experience working with stylesheets, markup languages, and converting files to and from different formats (XML to HTML, XML to RTF for example). I wrote custom software that had to be written quickly for non-technical people who were on a tight sechedule.
