I have a PhD in Cancer and Cell Biology from the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. I completed my postdoctoral studies at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts General Hospital. I have 19 years of experience in research and academic writing/ editing. Several opportunities have enabled me to cultivate my writing and editing skills while a doctoral and postdoctoral researcher. Specifically, I wrote manuscripts for publication, two book chapters in addition to writing and submitting ten research grants, of which I was awarded two. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to serve as an editor in more than a couple of scientific journals. Overall, the breadth and depth of my knowledge, reasoning skills in experimental design, data analysis and interpretation coupled with the extensive scientific training I gained during my doctoral and postdoctoral experience enables me to support the academic research, writing and editing of new clients here!
