I am a native Swahili speaker, with a proven ability to translate (and / or proofread/edit) content from English to Swahili languages (and vice versa). My major skills are in translation, proofreading and/or editing of articles, transcription of audio/multimedia content as well as content writing in English and Swahili languages. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office apps; and Computer-Aided-Translation (CAT) tools specifically Memsource, Smartcart & XTM Editor. I have also worked on a pro bono basis for Translators Without Borders (TWB) using their Kato platform where I have donated more than 1800 words to non-profit organisations such as WHO and TechChange.
