Writing & Translation
I have a Bachelor of Science, majoring in biomedical science and a PhD in Epidemiology, from the University of Queensland. This theoretical background has developed my ability to research and write high quality reports, technical documents, grant applications and academic papers.
I have published academic papers in a number of international peer-reviewed journals and has written several reports for Government. I have supervised a number of postgraduate students and have worked closely with them to strengthen their written work.
My experience as a research fellow and project officer means that I have learnt the importance of communicating complex ideas to a non-technical audience. Realising that health professionals, academics and the general public have limited time, I have become skilled in conveying important messages quickly and concisely.
