Work Your Way

Four different agreements. Every possibility.

Pay by Milestones

Use Milestones to break your job into smaller more manageable segments. There are no limits to the number of milestones you can create — give each milestone a name or description, due date, and set an amount to be paid. We recommend that you give the most important milestones the highest dollar values.

Breaking your job into Milestones helps you keep the finish line in sight. Review the work for each Milestone as you go, tracking the overall progress of your job. You can always adjust your plan — add, remove, or edit milestones as needed.

Freelancers can invoice for milestones once they are completed. Use our SafePay service to fund your job and have confidence knowing that you will have the opportunity to review the work before releasing payment.

Pay by Tasks

Create tasks for work within your job as you need them. Whether you hire one freelancer or 100s — Tasked based agreements are perfect when you want to track your job's cost at an individual task level.

Set the value for each task based on a fixed price per unit. For example, let's say you assign a task for a 500-word article with a unit price of $50 — if the freelancer writes 2 articles for the task they would invoice for 2 units ($100).

Invoices for tasks can be generated once they are complete. Use our SafePay service to fund the job and have confidence knowing that you will have the opportunity to review the work before releasing payment.

Pay by the Hour

Pay your freelancer based on the time they work. Set an hourly pay rate (e.g. $15 per hour) for each freelancer you hire, and define how many hours a week they can work (e.g. 15 hours per week).

Time worked can be entered manually, or you can use our free TimeTracker software to see timestamped screenshots of the work being done. TimeTracker helps you monitor progress and can create transparency throughout the job.

Hourly based agreements are invoiced every week, and you only pay for the time worked. Use our SafePay service to fund your job and have confidence knowing that you will have the opportunity to review the work before releasing payment.

Pay Using Recurring Payments

Agreements based on Recurring Payments set unique payment cycles and rates for each freelancer. Pay every week, every other week, month, or quarter and always stay connected to your go-to freelancers.

Recurring Payments can act as a retainer — establish a base rate of pay and assign additional services/tasks as needed. Payments can be stopped or resumed at any point with just a click of a button.

Invoices are paid at the end of each billing period. Use our SafePay service to fund your job and have confidence knowing that you will have the opportunity to review the work before releasing payments.
