PEOPLE
• Research: a person studying documents/books
• Veterans: a generic soldier saluting
• Education: a teacher in front of a blackboard or classroom
• Locations: a person standing in front of the Archives building or studying a map
• Shop: a person at a computer
OBJECTS
• Research: stacks of file boxes (over 9 billion records!!!) or an historic-looking document
• Veterans: a close up of a decorated officer’s decorations—bars and medals
• Education: a globe or blackboard and eraser
• Locations: an unfolded map (maybe with pins in it)
• Shop: a shopping cart, a mouse, or a stack of books, photos and other stuff you can buy
These are just suggestions but I think as long as the illustrations are more or less square and not too cutesy or cartoon-y they could work.

This project involves the creation of 20 new dog greeting card designs. We are looking for an illustrator who is capable of drawing several(at least 6) different styles of dogs. They need to be cute and whimsical and sommewhat similar to the dog style in the sample card(attached).... Show all This project involves the creation of 20 new dog greeting card designs. We are looking for an illustrator who is capable of drawing several(at least 6) different styles of dogs. They need to be cute and whimsical and sommewhat similar to the dog style in the sample card(attached). Most of the card sentiments will be provided to you and sometimes we will have a general idea of how we want a design to look. Other times it will be left up to your intrepretation. Proper backgrounds, borders and other elements as needed depending on the sentiments. Final versions need to be no more than 6 colors. The final approved design will need to be submitted both as a completed file and in color separated files.Please make clear in your bid submission the fee for all 20 designs.
This is a repost of a project that was first posted in August/Sept.(20 designs now instead of the original 10) I wasn't able to review all of the submissions and award it due to a death in the family.
