My name is Aaron Lewis. I am a fresh new graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, with a diploma in web design. I would like to share with you my resume and portfolio. www.alewisdesign.org
My technical skills include the Adobe Suite CS4. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. With these tools, I can create eye catching graphics and sites, using HTML, CSS, Flash and ActionScript 3.0. I am adept at image editing and manipulation. I also am a photographer, which has been a useful and integral part of my web designs. Less stock photography creates more honest, relevant images. I have also designed logos and branding material for businesses for over five years. To be honest, my enjoyment of logo design was what reeled me into a design path in the first place.
I am a visual web designer focused on detail and delight. My design aesthetics aim to be emotionally and visually stimulating. I have a firm concept of navigational flow, and take into consideration how a viewer will interact with a web site. I am tired of web sites that make you look for the next navigational step. I want the site navigation to be unnoticed. Navigation is doing its job when you don’t have to search for it, or try to figure out how to use it.
