Have built 3-tiered systems using Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, XSL, and UML. The most recent project I completed from design to deployment was a web-based Employee Tracking and Allocation tool where company executives could see where current employees were assigned, request employees for allocation onto a specific project, allocate employees to specific projects, add/edit/delete projects and employees, etc. This solution was built with an Oracle 8i backend, EJB DAOs, and JSPs as the presentation layer. XML/XSL was also used for displaying complex reports. Initial designed was captured through the use of Use Cases and UML. IIS was used as the Web Server, JRun was used as the Application Server, Forte was used as the development environment, Rational Rose was used for design documentation, and Visual Source Safe was used for version control.
