Two of the projects are similar in nature, but one is much larger than the other:
Essentially, we have two sets of data, where we need to link all of the records of one to one or more records in the other. They match via a "name" field which may not be written consistently, which is why it cannot be automated with a query or something.
A simple interface in Access has been made to help speed up this process, reduce training time, and make it as efficient as possible. This interface will be accessible via remote desktop.
The first recordset is relatively small, and has only 600 records which need to be matched.
The second recordset is quite a bit larger, and is on the order of 60,000 records.
The third project also has a simple Microsoft Access interface built to make the process more efficient. User will have to go through a database, look at the associated PDF file (all done automatically in the interface) and then fill out some basic metadata information on the file (author, date, pages, company name, etc.). There are a little less than 1400 records in this dataset.
We are looking to get a firm to quickly knock out the smaller two datasets, and if we are pleased with the work, we can continue to do business and knock out the third larger dataset.
We will be able to provide basic training on the interfaces made for the data entry. Show less
