As a "retired" person I have returned to full-time activity as a professional grandma and transcriber, providing home day care part-time and typing services full-time.

Additional Skills:	Fast typist, excellent with transcription, quick turn-around, reliable and will work by the page as well as by the hour. Will provide a page rate after one half hour audio sample for transcription. Also do web-page design focusing on small item photography and catalogues. Can provide samples.

Work Terms

I work from home only, have very flexible hours and tend to be a night-owl. I am willing to use instant messenger programs but prefer to use Skype and have a web-cam which I find enhances understanding significantly. I use Microsoft Word for transcription and Adobe Go-Live and Photoshop for web-work. For transfer of funds I have used PayPal in the past but am open to other payment methods. Transcription work has quite a lot of variability in terms of quality of recording, pace, and how polished the delivery is--all of which affects transcription speed. For this reason, I am willing to transcribe a 1/2 hour recording on the hourly pay basis and then give the empoyer a page rate which often makes employers feel more secure.
