Android 2.1 and above Blackberry OS 4.5 To 7.1 Roles and Responsibilities: *Good experience with the Android SDK *Good experience and knowledge of Mobile application design guidelines and implementation *Familiar with Mobile application performance profiling and tuning *Familiar with fundamentals of object-oriented design patterns, data structures and algorithms *Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) *Experience building web and native apps *Experience using social media APIs *Using version control (e.g. SVN, Git) *Experience with play store (should have distributed apps and successfully submitted to play store) *Familiar with project estimations and work breakdown *Define an architecture that is modular, extensible, scalable and testable *Familiar with Agile style of development cycles *Design reusable components to be used across all client platforms *Quickly analyze production problems and devise solutions *Work with quality assurance teams *Work with the design team to discuss and implement design concepts and apply as per Android guidelines *Perform code reviews *An understanding of the software development life-cycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance *Well organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work loadZeal to take up challenges provides innovative solutions, think out of the box and open to learning
