Trained formally as an architect, I have over 12 years of professional experience as a design and project manager in commercial and residential AE firms (architectural and engineering.) I have both a Bachelor of Architecture in Science and Master of Architecture degrees, and have been a LEED AP BD+C since 2009. I specialize in architectural design consultation, two dimensional or three dimensional graphic visualization, drafting, environmental/sustainability studies and most other related services (concept visuals, programming, master planning, LEED checklists, layouts, animations, architectural graphics, environmental graphics, etc.) I have experience in a wide array of project types, both residential and commercial. Commercial work includes: banks, hospitals, multi-family residential, retail, restaurant, office, and other various mixed-use facilities. My residential work extends from high end residential homes to small details, even chicken coop enclosures! I have the ability to produce 2d documents in either AutoCAD, Revit or Chief Architect and am happy to try and work with any file type or software per request. I have had both domestic and international clients, and can work in both SI and metric units (for scaled drawings.) I (mostly) utilize Revit to produce 3d models, although I have experience modeling with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DsMax, and Rhino. I've also used various render plugins over the years, from mental ray to V-Ray to my current favorite - Enscape. Enscape gives me the ability to produce fast renderings and live updates to models. My training as an architect provides me with insight into scale, holistic branding, end user experience, materials and construction for architectural renderings and animations. I've also done some civil related work, including working with ALTA surveys, creating plot plans, modeling topography from 3d survey point clouds and traffic engineering studies (ie stacking diagrams, sit and parking layout, land use and zoning studies, etc.) I am always looking for ongoing collaborations with business owners, contractors, interior designers, other architects, visionaries, government entities, home owners, and more.
