For nearly twenty years I have worked in various media including pen and ink, airbrush, and scratchboard. I began my career working primarily in pen and ink, which up until the late 1980’s was highly in demand. Later I switched over to realistic airbrush and within the past six years have worked principally in scratchboard; Concurrently I have also worked as a fine artist, specializing in still life and portraiture. To an illustrator not only is quality paramount, but also listening attentively to the art director, and perhaps preeminent, meeting the imposed deadline. Further, maintaining a strong work ethic is vital in any professional relationship, especially to garner future work.
