• custodian of Petty cash and all other branch related reconciliations of the same • Intuitively verify customer’s particulars before any transaction is passed Performing teller transactions i.e. deposits, withdrawals, loan disbursements/payments • Reconcile cheques and cash received at the end of the day’s business • Entering the Branch Period Transaction Records (PTR) and any other batch form transactions in the system • Act as alternate secondary custodian to Branch Operations Manager in cash vaults and record vault balancing and act as the secondary custodian of the Branch keys • Market company products and services through cross selling and referrals. • Establish the client’s identity (KYC requirement) prior to account opening, as well as updating customer static data requirements • Raising the request orders for the purchase of goods and services for the Branch and Purchasing Office supplies. • Check loan application form and ensure that clients meet all loan criteria and that all required documents are attached before Setting up new and repeat Loan accounts in the system • Display a high level or standard of cleanliness, courtesy and discipline in dealing with clients as a measure of public relations, while handling their inquiries and complaints. • Alert the Branch Operations Manager of any easy signs of possible fraud by staff or clients and ensures confidentiality of Operations related information is maintained in all cases to protect the interest of the Company and the clients. • Provide secretarial and administration support and provide hospitality to clients and all visitors • Set and maintain up to date Branch operations’ section filing and retrieval systems for business correspondence and all administrative records and ensures documents can be filed and retrieved with ease by all users. • Update and maintain external and internal branch operations contact databases and telephone directories, and handle and respond to queries and telephone calls. • Prepare, type, and dispatch correspondences and reports including email, fax, letters, and memos.
