Brand & Marketing Strategist

In my previous corporate-ladder-climbing life, I spent 10 years working with some of the biggest brands in the UK, including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Unilever. I now consult with small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs on Brand & Marketing strategy. I was lucky enough to gain a breadth of experience including brand development, marketing tech, loyalty marketing, product management and customer insight. I worked both in-house and agency-side during my corporate career. I managed 7 figure budgets and developed teams of talented people. These days I apply what I've learned – strategic brand planning experience, multi-channel marketing expertise and analytical know-how – and help small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs get the very best from small budgets and limited resource. Some of the ways we can work together: *Brand Development Strategy* A brand isn't a logo. Your brand identity - your logo, colour palette and design - is a culmination of your values, what you stand for, what makes you different, and how you want to come across in the mind of your target customers. I'll work with you to evaluate and develop your brand so it authentically and powerfully embodies everything that makes your business unique. Companies that do this well, do well. *Marketing Review & Strategy* Marketing is essentially how you *create demand* for your product or service. That's it. It's any activity which helps you 1. get new customers and 2. retain existing customers. Everything else is noise. I work with you to assess your current marketing activity to establish what's working, what isn't and what's missing. I review market and competitor activity for inspiration, gaps and best practice. I draw up realistic and bespoke plans based on what you can *actually afford* in terms of budget, time and resource. So, if you’re just starting out and feeling overwhelmed ...
