The business plan is simply a communication tool written in the language of the investor asking the latter to invest capital for an adequate return. The crafter of the business plan must be skilled not only in knowing what a great plan should contain, but must be both efficient and effective in collecting the data required. He/she must have a firm grasp of economics, the capital markets, business law, competition as well as an excellent understanding of the business to ensure a quality plan.
