I hold a Chicago Style Editor certification. I have proofread and served as a copy editor for five publications: two magazine, three newspaper. I also served as a copy reader for the Department of English at two accredited colleges, where I would mark submitted student work for error correction and revision prior to final examination by the teaching staff. I have extensive experience working with writers who are Deaf, and have the skills and experience to assist in copy correction with grammar and style differences that tend to be inherent to those who transition between the linguistic demands of visuo-gestural language, such as American Sign Language and written English. I have also taught English as a Second Language at the college level and have experience working with students who were Deaf.
