Hi, I'm a Chinese teacher. I've been teaching Mandarin for over two years now, both online and offline. So now I'd like to give you a brief introduction about me and also what I can do to help you. I consider language learning as a puzzle; vocabulary is the pieces of the puzzle, grammar is an instruction book and pragmatics are the picture of it. What I can do is provide you with all the necessary aspects of the puzzle. Chinese words are fairly straightforward, but one problem that many Mandarin learners struggle with is the tones. With my way of teaching, I will ensure that you will remember the words easily and have a deep knowledge of the meanings and pronunciation. At the start of every class, I will help you practise all of the words that you learned in the previous classes as a warm up activity so that you are constantly reviewing the words you've learned. I will also provide you with the language environment to make you aware of the right circumstance in which to use the words and sentences correctly.
