I have implemented this in various domains such as HRIS, classifieds, to name a few. I am a big fan of Open source components which have stabilized over the last few years. The current trend in eCommerce and many other companies is to use these extensively, as these bring in the advantages of scale. I help in identifying appropriate components, test their suitability, and managing them at run time.  Improving ROI is my passion. This not only involves better architecture and software designs, but also writing efficient code, and using profiling extensively. Reducing the number of passes in complex algorithms comes naturally to me – this leads to significant load reduction on the servers.
