Provide legal counsel, strategy and direction to CEO/CFO/COO for IT-related contracts, including privacy, data security, mobile apps, social media, policy issues, outsourcing, software systems acquisition and implementation / development / licensing, SAS, vendor management, e-commerce transactions, etc. • Draft and negotiate documents and contracts related to IT-related initiatives. • Provide substantive advice on wide-ranging IT, privacy, and data security issues. • Counsel internal business teams and/or outside counsel with regard to vendor onboarding, management and compliance issues, providing leadership and direction in addition to substantive legal advice. • Draft, review and update policies, documents and communications related to IT matters and business initiatives. • Develop on-going IT contracts-related strategies, processes and forms for the contracts area and communicate with business teams and outside legal counsel regarding same. • Work with and manage a variety of outside legal counsel. • Monitor IT-related developments, trends and issues in an effort to anticipate business needs. • Attend meetings with business contacts pertaining to IT issues. • Participate in and develop presentations, training programs, and materials for business teams in regard to relevant IT, privacy, and data security issues. • Participate in planning, budgeting and strategy for the Corporate Legal Department.
