The "oh so important" final steps of a project! When we look at the time, effort, and resources that are expended to see a project make its way to fruition, we can then fully appreciate the critical interplay of both editing and proofreading. My approach does not simply focus on the syntactic and grammatical aspects of a written project. Rather, I believe that it is imperative to assess whether the piece in its entirety, possess the components that are complementary to its objective. I often find, when reading various literary works, that while a piece can be grammatically correct, it somehow leaves a reader bemused by its glaring lack of cohesion. Copious factors must be considered, such as the tone, language, subject matter, and writing style. Another critical factor that must be considered is the intended method of delivery of the content (e.g., novel, speech, etc.)
