Copywriter

$16/hr Starting at $50

From my beginnings as a rogue social media consultant in San Francisco, up until my most recent position as a copywriter, I've consistently exceeded performance standards. Please peruse my profile; if you’re in search of a savvy, self-made, and verbally seductive teammate, then you've found your new secret weapon. I assist numerous small and mid-sized businesses with writing copy for their sites and blogs, and with creating an overall inbound marketing strategy. Previously, I was the marketing project manager at a software company in downtown Los Angeles – AMI The Paperless Company. I was the first marketing professional the company hired, and I helped the CEO create standardized internal marketing processes. Additionally, I wrote copy for a new website, landing pages, AdWords ads, emails, and I maintained the company blog. Earlier, I worked as the ecommerce marketing coordinator at Roger CPA Review where I wrote copy for the blog, social media accounts, emails, and banner ads. While I was there, both the Twitter and Facebook followership grew notably, and I negotiated an exclusive affiliate blogger contract that catalyzed an 11% growth in our total affiliate revenue. At Roger CPA Review, my role was essentially to be the Jill-Of-All-Ecommerce-Trades. I grew accustomed to writing engaging copy on tight deadlines, to driving website traffic, and to foreseeing niche messaging opportunities before the competition. I decided I wanted to become a copywriter when I began managing social media campaigns as a consultant for restaurants in the Bay Area. I realized I excelled at targeted copywriting when I assisted Zero Zero – a SoMa restaurant – in developing their online branding strategy on Twitter and Facebook. While I was there, I posted for them daily and grew their fan base on Facebook by 450% and on Twitter by 233%. I also designed, pitched, and launched an online game that increased our reservations on the slowest night
