In the last two years I have had my first novel published, have received two provincial grants for my writing from the PEI Council of the Arts, and have accepted a position as Writer in Residence, also with the PEI Council of the Arts. I have recently been invited to read at the revered Westport Poetry Festival (Westport, Ontario) in April 2009. I am a strong writer and editor and can efficiently and skillfully polish any style of manuscript. I work quickly, am professional and meticulous with my work. I have experience working in a number of mediums including print media, fiction, non-fiction, comic books / graphic novels, and television.
