Since college my work has been varied and always interesting. Although until recently, my job title has not included writing, it has always been a significant part of my daily work. When I was with the Department of Defense, I wrote management analyses. When working for a regional health care facilities trade association, I wrote many different kinds of documents, including a major bi-annual report documenting the volume of uncompensated health care in the region, and advocacy for legislative change. When working for a consulting firm, I wrote application packages for state approval of cancer treatment centers. In a variety of other jobs, I have done research, editing, and writing in subject areas such as paradigm shift in mental health care delivery models, nutrition and aging, wom
