Using any of the leading object-oriented programming languages--such as Java, JavaScript, C++, or Python--I will create custom software to automate, control, or enhance the technical processes of your business or hobby. My expertise lies in software architecture: understanding your problem or goal is critical in getting this architecture right from the beginning. I will work with you to understand your vision and lay out the logical steps necessary for its realization. Most software has a complicated data component. I will build create data structures, interfaces for manipulating the data, and tools for analyzing that data. My experience with big data in the financial trading industry prepares me for the challenges of filtering, storing, and accessing terabytes of raw data. If requested, I will be sure to build a clean and modern graphical interface for your software. Or you may choose a command-line interface if you plan to run the software from a local or cloud server. I enjoy this aspect of software creation just as much as the back-end coding, as software is nothing without its users. The final step of your project will be distribution.
