I have been working for the call center industry in Bangladesh from the year 2005. After finishing my A-level examination I started working as a telemarketer for a company named Orbit Communication, we used to make calls to the customers in United States and sell them different kinds of products and services (Mainly mortgage & debt settlement). After 6 months the company promoted me and made me Team Leader because they were happy with my performance and language skills. As team leader my job was to manage and train a team of 16 agents, I used to make calls too. So basically this is how I started in the industry, over the past couple of years I have worked with several outbound and inbound campaigns for Australia, USA, UK, Canada, I also had the opportunity to work for a couple of mother companies who had their operations outsourced in Bangladesh like Exoticphone.com and Fieldnation.com.
