My name is Olga, I'm a certified linguist. I work with English, Russian, Slovenian and Czech projects. I'm new to guru.com, so I offer the minimum price of 10$ per hour or positive feedback. All types of translation: literary, technical, medical, commercial, etc. I'm a Bachelor of Linguistics with 7 years of experience in translation, interpretation, and teaching. I majored in the Czech language and Literature, and the Slovenian language as a second foreign. I studied English since Elementary school and I improved it at University and during my work as a translator in the pharmaceutical company and during my numerous trips and work in the US. After I received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Slovenia, I studied Slovenian at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and consolidated my skills during my long journeys through the country. Together with a group of young translators, I translated a Slovenian-Russian Phrasebook "Pocket Slovenian" which was published in Ljubljana in 2014 (check in the portfolio section). I got deeply into the specificity of Czech grammar and syntax at Saint-Petersburg University and thanks to the Summer School of Slavonic Studies in Czech Budweis. I translated plenty of poems, documents, certificates from and into Czech as well as interpreted interviews at the Czech Embassy in Saint-Petersburg. I'm still cooperating with a few translation agencies. Doing my job I check everything and resend it to my native speaker editors to provide a high-quality document.
