I'm a data architect/administrator with experience optimizing large, and widely distributed, data sets for business intelligence purposes such as reporting and real-time dashboard visualization, along with enhancing scalability as we continue to grow. 

This will include evaluating our current data structure/s and access needs and then providing expertise around how best to achieve short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals are to further optimize some complex queries that are running longer than ideal.  Longer-term goals are to look at better structuring the data layer utilizing concepts like data warehousing, data archival techniques and properly segregating and partitioning data based on frequency and speed of access. Knowledge of business intelligence tools and what role they can play in helping to meet our delivery requirements around reporting and data visualization in an optimized and efficient manner is strongly desired.
