I have a total of more than 10 years of experience in IT. I am currently working as a Lead in Data Quality Analyst and Performance Tuner/Optimization in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in a fortune 500 company in Malaysia for more than 5 years. The role demands us to work from the point the data is sent to EDW from several source systems using Informatica ETL tool to rollup of data from Loading Zone to Integrated zone to Reporting Zone in EDW. Several reporting tools are used by user to constantly get the report for analytics. There are some source systems which uses Hadoop, so we need to have good knowledge on HIVE and HDFS to query data and check the data quality in the source system.
