An OCA professional with an aim to intern as a Database Administrator/ Developer, Sys Admin or a Technical Specialist. Having completed a Database Administration course from an institution affiliated by Oracle University, I am looking to take up a role where I could leverage my Database Administration Skills such as database backup and recovery, data export and import, database statistics & performance analysis and administering data & user security. I also believe my thorough knowledge of MS SQL Server and proficiency in working with Agile and Microsoft Azure broadens my expertise to a range of Relational Databases. As a Database Developer, I designed complex Triggers, Procedures, Functions, Sequences and Packages to create a Database Model for a Gymnasium website. Further I created the architecture of the website as part of requirement analysis. Furthermore, I authored a paper on ‘Advancements in Big Data & its Applications’ as a part of my module-work and scored an A++ grade which showcases a functional knowledge of NoSQL databases. I thoroughly researched NoSQL concepts such as Hive, Mahout, Apache Spark, Storm and many more as part of my thesis work. And lastly, I have specialized in Computer Networks where I have applied several networking approaches, which include Virtualization concepts like Network Function Virtualization (NFV) & Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) on tools such as VMWare, Hyper-V and Virtual box. I have also studied concepts of Virtual Private Network (VPN), MobileIPVPN and Network Area Translation (NAT) among others. I have performed several system administrative tasks such as User & Group creation and maintenance, Disk Usage Scans, Performance Monitoring, Reboot, and automated file transfers using the power of command line scripting in Linux as well as Windows. I have worked extensively on Linux based platform to perform system administration tasks as well as database administration tasks.
