• Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer with more than eight years of exp. to providing technical design direction in automobile sector. • Lead the cross functional team (CFT) for parts localization. • Optimization of products in term of raw material and cost. • Engineering evaluation of vehicle at assembly/ parts at development and testing levels. • Experience in design calculations through design formulas/standards and validate it on Ansys workbench and Solidworks simulation tools. • Experience of calculation of tolerance stack up analysis, root cause analysis (RCA) DFM & DFA. • Preparation and maintaining the Bill of Material (BOM), Engineering change note (ECN) of three projects in same time. • Proficient at creating detailed mechanical 3D and 2D drawings parts and assemblies from Solidworks, Pro/E and AutoCAD tools using GD&T. • Suppliers interaction for Technical reviews/Design reviews for development.
