I am a Software Engineer who has been working as a Java Application Developer for the last 20 years, for 18 of those years I have worked with distributed Applications (J2EE). I am an excellent team player and problem solver who believes in providing quality solutions to enhance/maintain my employer’s competitive advantage and reactivity. I am currently employed as an IT Expert Developer, working on an event flow orchestrator for the risk processing of Nordea. I am extremely interested in all aspects of the engineering process and have worked internally with the AO team, developing docker images to use as the build agents for certain build processes,the security team refactoring customising the Black Duck plugins, the Big Data team using HIVE dfs and sparkSql to prepare data for both supervised and unsupervised learning systems.I believe that by working several different areas I am able to become a better engineer and it is fun to develop. I have developed graph traversal applications, I have also developed a chess playing application. Although similar applications already exist I am hoping that by working on my own applications I develop skills that I can transfer to Commercial Applications that require the ability to find predictive patterns from data .
