Precision: no written work has any hope of communicating its message without precision in its spelling, grammar and punctuation. Yet the meaning of "precision", ironically, is NOT precise! There are a variety of style guides available to the modern writer, and each person wants their work presented in a manner (or "style") that is suitable for their readership. My preference is for the Chicago Manual of Style; but whomever the readership might be, I am ready to do your editing in a style which is suitable for that audience. Over the past fifteen years, I have edited several works of non-fiction, all of which have gone on to be published. I have also co-written and acted as final editor on a published work of history, as well as having written numerous short stories. I have written one novel and ghostwritten a second. For the game companies Ludonaute and PHALANX, I have frequently served as editor for their material, and as copywriter for PHALANX. And, as a former ordained clergy, I have even been called upon to edit e-mails of congregants, so that their critical correspondence would be effectively heard!
