The aim is to improve the writing itself in order to make the story flow better and be the best that it can be. This is different from a full structural edit, which will look at the story and characters more deeply, as well as the overall structure of the story. Copy editing is the next step from the full structural edit, and it is distinct from proofreading, which is the final check for grammatical and punctuation errors. Proofreading for novels, fiction and non-fiction, academic papers, short stories, and any other kind of writing. I will go through your work carefully to find and correct grammar, spelling and language errors and typos. This will help your writing look cleaner and more accurate. I have copy edited and proofread academic texts and fiction for private clients, as well as worked with publishers, including Black Library and Angry Robot.
