I have spent the last 10 years (full- and part-time) as a lecturer in Science (Chemistry, Biology and Forensics) teaching 14-18 year olds and Maths to 14-16 year olds. I am also involved in writing qualification specifications, curriculum guides and schemes of work, individual lesson plans and resources, as wells as take part in internal and external moderation (including for exam boards) and marking. The last few years have been spent working part-time as a learning technologist, creating online, digital content for UK schools and colleges and national companies and qualifications. Recently I was part of a team that won a national award for "Innovation Using Technology in the Further Education (16-19) Sector". I have degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Business Management and am fully conversant with Microsoft Office, as well as digital content creation software (Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate).
