I am a native speaker of Dutch, currently working on my doctoral thesis in English Literature at the University of Oxford. My most recent and most extensive experience is in translating an entire website for a leading supplier of pet products. Other translations I have worked on in the past have included letters, brochures and other professional documentation for Dutch civil servants, companies, schools, and academics. I have also translated poetry, and, slightly more uniquely, have worked on translations of a seventeenth century Dutch painting manual. My main academic work concerns the metaphysics of playworlds in Shakespeare's plays. I have written, published, and/or produced poetry and plays in English and Dutch.
