I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, with a B.A. in Literature and Modern Languages and a Ph.D. in Italian Literature, from the University of Rome. I provide services of translation, subtitling, proofreading, and revision, from English and Italian into Portuguese.  I have experience and interest in many areas, but my main fields of expertise are Culture, Humanities, and Social Sciences. I have experience in translating academic essays, poetry, journalistic articles, blog posts, and subtitles. I also provide revision services for legal document translation. 

The biggest project I’ve worked on was revising a Portuguese translation of a poem. The source text had more than 100.000 words. I was able to spot problems in the translation and improve its quality, meeting the deadline aligned with the publishing house. The final product was very appreciated by the publishing house and by the readers, who wrote positive reviews online.
