I am Helena. I am a dependable licensed teacher and always aim to help my students reach a stable stage of English communication. I love teaching my students while sharing comforting and familiar situations wherein they can use their skills. I stick to my teaching methods therefore my lessons are predictable and easier for the students to catch up.
I used to teach Grade 6 students arts, music, and physical education. I also experienced assisting ESL students from South Korea as a pilgrimage guide. I’ve wanted to expand my ESL teaching experience to different countries that don’t have English as their mother tongue.
I love communicating with people especially building connections with their hearts. I believe that the best language one can learn is the language of heart, therefore, I always extend heartful lessons to my students. I’m patient in handling difficult situations inside my class while encouraging positive educational support to each of my students.
I have excellent time management and organizational skills, and I am a lifelong learner. I attended various training sessions that assisted me in improving my teaching styles when dealing with both children and adults.
I’m used to handling multiple schedules in a day and have no issues with organizational skills. I’m also a lifelong learner and still attend different training to upskill myself. My vision is to keep the most updated teaching method in my class to bring the best quality education.

To avoid stagnation and reach my full potential professionally and personally, I took and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2018.
I recently completed extensive ESL for Jobs and Business training at the Department of Information and Communication Technology to broaden my teaching skills and develop good teaching strategies for future opportunities.
