I am a full time rails freelancer. I have been working in web development domain for 6 year. As a web developer I worked with RoR starting with version 2.x, 3.x and now I actively use version 4.x with Ruby 2.0/2.2 . Along with that I also have sound knowledge of jQuery, Phonegap, AngularJs etc In my everyday work I actively use HAML, CoffeeScript, SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery. The majority of the projects I worked on recently used MySQL and Postgres for database storage, but also my recent experience includes Sybase SQL Server as well as NoSQL databases. I am doing the development jobs under Ubuntu Linux but also have experience with other Linux flavors (CentOS/RedHat, SuSe, Debian) and can install and tune the necessary software under Unix-like OSes. Whenever necessity arises I am using Windows for development/testing purposes as well.
