Fire Alarm plans are based on NFPA / ICB rules and regulations that require specific devices (sensors, manual, automated, addressable, and conventional) to be used to notify occupants of a fire hazard. All drawings will state the Installation contractor assumes all liability. The state (or local jurisdiction) may require commercial projects to have a certified NICET consultant to review the drawings prior to construction implementation.
