Fire Protection plans are based on NFPA / ICB rules and regulations that may require hydraulic calculations by an engineer. These plans will show how a system reacts to neutralize a fire hazard, including the connections needed by the Fire Department (FDC). All drawings will state the Installation contractor assumes all liability. The state (or local jurisdiction) may require commercial projects to have an Engineering Seal prior to construction implementation.
