DevOps services on GCP. This includes building and maintaining infrastructure using terraform and managing cloud-native resources such as GCE, GKE, artifact registry, VPCs, firewalls, and HTTPS load balancers just to mention a few.

With 5yrs experience in DevOps, I have successfully implemented infrastructure design on a fintech startup in Nairobi and scaled it on GCP as more customers joined. The tech stack includes GCE, GKE, Postgres, Redis, ELK, stackdriver, nodejs, GCS, terraform, and docker.

Apart from DevOps experience, I also conduct security assessments on cloud infrastructure and web applications. Using tools such as burp suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, and the Kali Linux toolkit, I have reviewed the security of several applications using OWASP T10 as a benchmark and uncovered vulnerabilities such as misconfigured security headers, inadequate rate limiting configurations on web app logins. Further, I have implemented security defenses such as firewalls on GCP and custom VPNs such as wireguard and strongswan for purposes such as having a bastion/jump server that manages access control and authentication to restricted private networks.
