I can perl with the best, but I write poetic perl.  This means that the next person you hire to read my perl will be able to pick up my work and run with it.  I do not subscribe to c++ pragmas and object oriented yoga. What I write will do what you want and the next person will be able to make it better.  I have 24 years SCM experience writing tools and utilities for a fortune 500 company.  I will also python3, but it will take about 25% longer as I gotta learn shit.  I will NOT write python2.  Don't ask.  I will also not cry about your ancient perl which will not pass checkmarx or any other industry compliant security scanning software. I write LATEST perl and will help your company/LLC get to the point where you CAN pass those kinds of scans.  I do NOT take long contracts.  I am nearly retired and looking for gas money for the yacht.  Bullet projects only please.
